Dave is friendly and easy to work with for both beginning and advance
exercisers and knows his stuff.
He can work on specific goals and even specific muscle groups with you in
the privacy of his own gym.  He creates
manageable programs that you easily can work into your week and is very
encouraging to all participants.
In a half hour or so, you can complete the small set of exercises he
arranges for you and monitor with your own check sheet
he supplies each session.

Dave gives instruction in aerobic conditioning, muscle toning, and
flexibility as well as strength.
His rates are affordable but his expertise is top of the line.
Dave's training was a great 40th birthday gift!

I found Dave's instruction and expertise very helpful as an active adult.
He showed me how I can
get a good strength training program in place as a woman in my thirties who
wants to remain active in seasonal sports.
He is very knowledgeable in weight training as well as the basic fitness
measurements (aerobic, flexibility, strength, etc.)
and I found his supervision of form while weightlifting very important to
the proper technique for building strength and
muscle in a small and manageable daily program.

As a college and now masters athlete active in tennis, basketball,
swimming, power walking and skiing
who has even been Certified in Personal Training, I know my way around weight
rooms and workouts and
Dave definitely knows his stuff.  I found his program a perfect kickoff to
the cross country
ski season for those of us who now spend more time in work than playing
sports.
I wanted some guidance at improving baseline strength and conditioning
after a period of inactivity
and got good information and supervision from Dave.  He was especially good
at applying his knowledge
to individual cases and goals, gauging how long it will take to see
improvement in specific areas.

He is friendly and personable and can chat about anything while you do your
workout to your favorite
radio station in a casual atmosphere My sister and I had a lot of fun in
dual sessions as her fortieth birthday present!

I have been training with David  for over a year.  I am very pleased with the results. His knowledge of proper (mechanical joint action) helped me a great deal, by eliminating a chronic shoulder problem (through the use of correct form) that has plagued me for two years.

My primary interest is strength training.  I have made great gains on the bench press and on all other exercises in the past year, than ever before.  I am stronger now at the age of forty than I have ever been! I could not have accomplished this without Dave’s expert guidance.

Let me assure you his knowledge is not limited to strength training.  He is equally adept at cardiovascular training, which he teaches in conjunction with weight resistance for the best health benefits. Thank you for a great year!  I have never stuck with exercise for as long as I have in 2000.  I made some noticeable progress and plan to continue.  As I mentioned, I will be in Quincy from time to time and will schedule time with you for remedial training.  Best of luck to you.

    I have joined several gyms over the years only to
find myself losing interest after a few months.  I did
not enjoy going to a crowded facility where I would
have to wait in line to use the equipment.  I finally
decided that the only way I had a chance to achieve my
goals was to go to a personal trainer. 

 I found David  through the yellow pages and made an appointment with
him to see if this would work for me.  It does!  I
have been going to David twice a week for a year now
and it is the best thing I could have done for myself.
 I enjoy the personal attention and motivation that I
receive and most importantly, the results!  At 38
years old, I am in the best shape of my life and I
have never felt better or enjoyed exercising more.  I
recommend using a personal trainer and I highly

I found David through his website and have been training with him for almost nine months.  As a beginner with little time to spare, I wanted to make sure that any program I started would make the best use of my time.  Dave emphasizes proper form for maximum impact -- you learn how to do the exercises correctly from the beginning.   Since beginning training with David, I have made noticeable progress in building strength and have had visible results in general overall fitness. 

Dave is very knowledgeable and experienced.  He’s able to put you at ease immediately and develop rapport with you to determine your specific goals.  He emphasizes safety at all times and develops the pacing of your program in accord with your specific needs.  His rates are very affordable and I’ve been extremely pleased with my progress.

The most significant factor for me is the motivation David provides.  I tend to get bored very easily with anything that’s repetitive and have had trouble sticking to a program in the past.  And I’ve never found exercise to be particularly enjoyable before -- I’ve viewed it as a chore or a necessary evil.  David is able keep the program interesting and pleasant with a variety of exercise, your choice of music, and his conversation and sense of humor.  Sometimes, I find myself doing more than required without even realizing it.  However, Dave is also very attentive and will keep you on track and push you to achieve better results.  The one-on-one support and supervision have made all the difference in my sticking with a program.  I am very happy with David and I definitely recommend him to anyone who’s considering training.
